Hey everyone, so I recently decided to get into the hobby thanks to my brother in law who really inspired me. He has been into this hobby for many years and has been helping me get set up and teaching me the tricks of the trade.
So here is my build currently in the process of a fish-less cycle anxiously waiting to add my first fish!
Equipment:
Nuvo Fusion 20 pensinula
Nuvo fusion open stand
Orbits marine led pro lights
Eflux wave pump
aquamaxx NF-1 nano skimmer
Eheim Jager heater
mighty jet dc return pump
media basket that came with the tank (although I probably should have upgraded to the in tank one?)
XP Aqua Duetto Dual-Sensor ( Ordered a reservoir from an eBay seller who makes custom ones still waiting to receive it)
currently have 16lb of live rock I purchased from a local aquarium shop (going to add a bit more live rock)
20lb caribsea fiji live sand
Livestock plans:
a couple snails
peppermint shrimp
maybe a couple hermits not sure yet about that though
1 clown
1 royal gramma
1 firefish
1 clown goby
is that doable in terms of livestock or would I be overdoing it? Planning to add corals as well.
Below are some pics of my set up so far.
Thanks and looking forward to hearing what the community has to say!
