So a little bit of a problem sorry it's taken so long to do an update but work has been crazy. My 20 gal is processing ammonia from 2ppm to 0 ppm in 24 hr but the problem is high nitrates. Should I do a water change and if so how much of a water change? 50%

Fts.

Not sure on coral placement. Everything is still kind of mad about the move.

like the build! i'm thinking of getting a fusion 2o soon. I have a sicce 0.5 pump, do you think if i used that and the stock pump + a 240gph powerhead I would be okay?

The powerhead will be fine but the sicce .5 would be way to little. Especially if you plan on any spa corals

I wanted 10x turnover. I'm only using my powerhead to create some random flow to increase water movement at the bottom of the tank.

even using the sicce and the stock pump together? i wasn't going to use one pump and split the tubing, just have 2 return pumps. the sicce is 185 and stock is 211 gph, I just don't want to buy another pump of the sicce and the stock can make due

Trust me you want to replace the stock pump

I replaced mine after 3 days :)
