NuvoSkim DC - Desktop bubbles not reaching top of bin

I have a new NuvoSkim DC - Desktop that is producing bubbles and was able to fill enough that some bubbles would overflow into the bin but shortly after now the bubbles just sit on the surface of the water level and don't even make it near the entire top of the container.

I tried disassembling and everything looked clean and good. The bubbles just sit at the bottom of the container and there are never enough to move up. I've pushed the container all the way down and same results.

Expect the first Nuvo pump to fail within months. And be prepared to upgrade to an aftermarket skimmer because none of the IM skimmers work very well, require constant maintenance and breakdown.
