been out of town for a week. Just got back and my new sump was waiting for me. Below are pics of the sump after I unpacked it along with before and after photos. It is so well made. Advanced Acrylics did an excellent job. Been waiting on this to instal my varios return pump. Love being able to control flow from my return pump

I don’t even know if anyone follows this lol so I update for my own progression purposes. Everything is installed, stable and dosing perfect for demand...finally. Phosphates are a bit low at .02 so I dialed back nopox dosing and nitrates are at 5. All stable at 8, calcium a bit high at 500 but just added a bunch of frags it is stable though, mag stable at 1400 and iodine is .01

love the new sump, new return pump and all my apex modules. Ring able to control everything remotely is awesome. Even have the par meter for apex which is cool to track throughout the day then move each day to a new spot.
All the fish are doing great and all my corals are thriving. Tank is SPS heavy but I have chalices, Duncan’s, mushrooms, zoas, an elegance, frogspawn, favia etc.

Since my parameters are stable I bought a ton of acros and montis. PE is great.

Pic heavy post....everything is doing awesome. Have a battlebox @Battlecorals coming tomorrow and a few other high end frags from a local collector to round the tank. After I get these shipments I’m all done and get to sit back and enjoy watching things grow!

Getting ready to get back in after about a 5 year break. Thinking of going about the same route. SPS with a mix of Z. Never done a small tank SPS.

neither have I, my last few tanks were all 125+ gallon. This one has been fun, I just hate the limited fish options but have enjoyed it more so far

So I decided to order a Radion XR30 G5 blue and change from the reef breeders. With the photon and two lumenbars there is a lot of wires and it’s a lot above the tank. From my research, I can get similar or better output from the gen 5 XR30 and just have one clean light. comes in Tuesday and will update the thread on the progress and results. I have a par meter so I’ll be able to compare wall to wall par measurements with the photon vs XR30 G5.

Don’t have a pic of the tank with both lumembars on the photon v2+ but it was bulky over the tank. Today I installed the Radion XR30 G5 Blue. What a difference! So much cleaner. Im running the AB + Spectrum which isn’t that blue imo at 60% intensity versus a version of this spectrum at 75% intensity on the Photon. Par readings for the Radion were off the charts. I started at 75% and was 450 par in the center and 375 on the front and sides. Dropped it down to 60% and I get par levels slightly higher than the photon light but not much. Par drops off much faster the deeper you go it seems with the Radions which isn’t bad necessarily. Overall I love the Radion so far and my corals seem to be reacting better but it’s just day 1 so we will see. The Radion seems much brighter and hurts my eyes to look at it, photon was not like that at all. I am running A diffuser on the Radion.
