Octo HOB 1000 - no water intake

Hello, I’m trying to get an octopus 1000 hob to work and it is only pumping in air bubbles it seems...

Any tips? I’ve tried limiting the air coming in, but even if I pinch and stop air entirely no water seems to be pumping

do I just need to be more patient?

hi, have you tried plugging and unplugging a couple of time in a row,seems to be trick w them ,also holding air intake closed until water starts to rise.

It was the patience thing, was able to get it to work after a little tinkering
