Received my Octo Lids for SCA 150 and Reefer 750 XXL. Very satisfied with the lids, and the turn around was within 3 weeks. The ordering process went smoothly, and Matt was very responsive too my questions. Really loved that Matt was able to make a two piece lid for my Reefer 750 XXL, makes it really easy for me to take off one side when cleaning.

Cromag, do you make any lids for rimless tanks that sit on top of the glass? Reason for this is that the water level may be higher depending on the tank overflow. For instance my water line is probably 1/2”-3/4” below top of the glass so the lid is likely to get saturated with water movement.

@cromag27 by any chance can I purchase two of those plastic hinges from you? I can’t get @ArtFully Acrylic to respond to me after they offered a fix for my feeding door falling in so perhaps that would work.

I sure can. But my lids only sit down about 1/4" into the tank.

like the design but trying to figure out how to get a 1 piece lid for red sea reefer 750 that brace in middle would block out all the light that my radion would be sitting over

Matt makes a 1 piece lid for reefer 750 XXL. I made the requested to have my lid two piece because it is much easier for me to remove by myself when cleaning.

At first I was using small acrylic screws. Then I was doing screws and spline. Now I just do spline. It's all based on what is most requested.
Do you have a pic to explain spline vs screws ?

don't think i have any old photos of the screws. i just drilled and tapped holes, then used clear plastic screws to hold the netting on. now i use rubber spline.

Do you have a pic to explain spline vs screws ?

That's what you said 6 months ago. Ha!
Yeah. I know. It's not for lack of wanting...I promise it will happen (just gotta get a few other things straight first...).
