I thing it's algae anyway, I've had this brownish algae start growing on my rocks in the past few days. Idk if it's bad and if so what do I need to do about it. It's worse than it looks in picture

Based on the cleanliness of your rocks, your tank appears recently setup. If so, then these are most likely diatoms. Just the beginning of your tank breaking in and beginning the path towards maturation. Nothing to worry about and in a couple weeks to month, it should go away. Your tank will go thru a couple of these "ugly" stages before it matures. Just work on maintaining stable parameters and you should be okay.

I'd increase flow if diatoms are able to settle on your monti. You can blow them off with a turkey baster after increasing flow.
