Brisstle worm, ubiquitus scavenger in reef systems. The brisstles have a toxin on them and depending on the species and a person's sensitivity if they get stuck in a finger the reaction can vary from mild irritation to serious and painful irritation. Small one I'll ignore but larger ones I'll remove if possibnle if I see them when doing maintenance however I would not put a lot of effort in trying to remove them if they get away.

When in doubt, get it out. You can make a simple baited trap yourself to remove it if you wish. There's plenty of bristleworm trap threads on here.
