This is really cool looking. Both snails I have in my QT oddly have these.. don’t see them anywhere else In the tank. Any idea what it is? It’s like my snail has a small sun umbrella lol.

I forget the name, but i had some snails with them as well. Amazingly, that entire structure is a single cell... you might not be excited by that, but I was totally amazed by it when i learned that bit of information!
Wow that’s even cooler. I am actually since I’ve been using a microscope lately to examine everything now that I’ve got a Dino issue. It’s fun to see at that level and it honestly blew my mind when I saw what the reddish slime actually was lol.
