Wow, some of these colors are really nice. Final stretch!
Thank You Bro, between the water changes and dripping the Kalk it has all worked out. Thank You for your help and advice. The other thing that I have been steady on is dosing KZ Flatworm Stop and Coral Booster. I did lose a few colonies between the AEFW and the MEN but I definitely have seen a lot of improvement with everything:)

Maybe there should be a come back consolation prize? ;);) (First shot has retracted polyps after bumping it)

Here’s where it was at end of Jan, and it got much worse than this ($@& dosing failure + life disasters).. I really thought it was a goner

Finally starting to look like it wants to take off. Too little, too late, but it's progress!

It's an achievement to make it a year and to see growth. Just look at how many didn't make it this far. We'll all have nice coral and every time we look at it we'll remember this little contest.
What more could one ask for?

Well today marks 1 year for me! Been a super fun contest and made me pay more attention to husbandry if nothing else. It is interesting that my Bonfire thinks she's a stag (3"+ tall) but has started producing more basing coralites over the past month! I wonder if it starts evening out now after growing two larges branches for 12 months. :p

Good luck to everyone! A lot of nice growth from this group!

Here is my last picture. A few days early, but I'm not sure I will be able to post on the last day.

April 10, 2022:

And here is the original picture taken on April 14, 2021. I had a total of 0.7 inches of growth. Not the most, but it's still alive and has started to plate out at the bottom.

It would be interesting to see how these keep going over time. :)

It’s been fun Y’all, and I had a few bumps in the road , but didn’t we all. Glad to have made it to the end with this contest, and with this beautiful coral, Happily named the BC Bonfire. :)
