I noticed you're kinda chasing the PE thing around.
Don't know I you've seen this thread or not but here's a link
I think it's kinda like the question of why coralline grows like crazy in one tank but not another.
Thanks for the link to that thread; it was an interesting read. And yes, now that I have solved for pH, I am now chasing PE. Always chasing something in this hobby.

There were many contradictions in the thread and funny enough both sides of the debate had some merit.

It's R2R. Social media. Read any thread and there will be contradicting opinions.
Don't chase what you don't need to chase. Only you know your tank. Read what the tank tells you. I don't really chase anything but ALK. I keep that low, around 7Ish. I keep an eye on phosphate and nitrates trend wise.
I did go to the moonshiners program about 6-8 months ago. It's done wonders.
So...... I do an ICP test monthly to keep an eye on elements.
I have PE to a certain extent. Some corals have huge PE others not so much.
They're all healthy and growing. I don't care about much else.

Look at that fur! OK, according to the Rules Committee guidelines, you gotta share parameters. I am making all that up but no matter.
Seven more months... Honestly, I keep it simple. Feed, dose AFR, skim. Water change every month or two.
