Here's my August pic just under the wire. I've been gone on vacation for the last 2 weeks and snapped these quick pics before leaving on Aug. 19. I'll be back home tomorrow and hope the frag survived. My tank-sitter said an anemone is missing and the water is murky. Of course it is. Something always happens when I go on vacation.

I am away now also which is always unnerving. I am lucky to have a buddy from my LFS stop by once a day. He has a really good eye for anything that looks out of sorts.

I quit anemones several years ago. Mine multiplied like rabbits. Tube anemones only for me.

September 21st update.

Well… after a 12 hour move of the tank in late August, I only lost one coral! Sadly it was my red planet I received from my battlebox I ordered shortly after receiving the bonfire.

Bonfire didn’t do much, the angle has also changed due to my rescaping. I have two pictures, one from the original angle the other from the new. After looking through all of my submissions it seems to be growing larger from the middle.

OG, no glitz.

Next month will be 6 months. Another 6 months to go after that. Anything can happen between then and now. There's a handful into this and a lot going through the motions.
C'mon peeps, let's have fun with this!

September update. The little dooter has grown three new branches this past month, each about 1/6" long at this point.

The coral has also encrusted nearly half an inch out in every direction, which is really promising to see. The colors are finally returning now that I've turned my lights up a bit, so I'm hoping the growth will follow the same path.

I've included a top-down view for fun.

Halfway there! Good luck to the remaining participants!
God bless.
