I’ve started this with my euphyllia only tsnk. Have a small rack of 6 sps I don’t want. My par is 200 best where they get hit but good flow. Even have a frag on the sand that’s sps. They are all growing. My euphyllia I will state has improved flesh and see more are getting close to splitting.

my goal is different I don’t care for growth at all. I want a spawn event and well the right preprohormones are hard to find.

color on my torches is insanely more distinct but not sure if it’s due to Hgh or cipro lol.

Trying to recall Adam's @Battlecorals nutrient range but cannot. But I was running those numbers for years and still did not have PE like that. Even my WD is bare. Grows like mad but no PE. Some folks blame my coral beauty... could be true.

Do you have a lot of fish in that system driving your bioload?
I remember somewhere reading that Adam doesn’t ever test for nutrients but could be wrong. I personally noticed better PE with higher ph, 8.2-8.5, and nutrients.

I have a Red Sea 425XL with 11 fish and some shrimp so nothing too crazy but I do feed roughly 2-3 cubes of frozen daily along with pellets, oyster feast and phyto so that probably helps a bit.

I'm a day late, please forgive me.

Here is September.

For comparison, here is April and may. I wish I could get back that rich deep purple from when it first came in.

Interesting on the purple when it’s supposed to be a green and orange

We all get to miss one month. I wouldn't worry about it, just make sure you don't miss another. :) Looks like nice growth.

A heater failed and added copper to my tank giving it the KZ look.

I feel your pain. Same thing happened to me with the heater. Already lost 4 SPS. The other Acro's have lost a little flesh, including the BC, but it seems to be slowing or stopping. Fingers crossed.

Wow, all of us have gone through crap this month xD I made a huge mistake and did a WC with RO on the 1st, and my Bonfire nearly lost its' growth tips to it. Thankfully it's regained all color now, but I've lost nearly two weeks of growth.

Yep, a lot can happen in a 12 month contest. You never know until the end. As hard as we try, we can never be assured that we will keep our micro environments as stable as mother nature keeps the oceans.
