Here is my photo for October. Still hanging in there despite some issues.

Well, my Bonfire continues to fatten up. Have not figured out how to encourage it to grow TALLER. Maybe I will park it next to my skinny little Homewrecker. Fat shaming comes to aquaculture.

It's not going to grow taller. It's a tabler, it will grow out from the edges. Nice job!

No name acro. Tabling acro.

TGC fruity pebbles. Another tabling acro. They both kinda look alike, but this is how the bonfire will grow.

It is a happy little chubster with good color.

Maybe we should have set the contest up by measuring displacement. No biggie though. Does the "winner" "win" anything? I forget.

October 22nd Entry pictures.
No noticeable changes except some encrusting since the late August tank move and last months pic. Been slowly losing color in the bonfire and a few others acroporas. I have stylos, Montis, seriatopora, zoas, tenuis that all glow…I’m struggling to get a nitrate reading and maintain a steady .04 - .1 Phosphate level. I just started manually dosing nitrate to get a reading. Pics below:

October Daylights… starting to color up more. What is it about measuring that requires you to accidentally bump your frag a few times with the stick…lol

Near disaster yesterday in my basement grow out system. ATO float failed to seat. APEX salinity probe is (apparently) pooped out, so I was not notified. Darn thing never registered below 33.8. APEX floor sensors: one is broken (failed closed) and I have yet to replace it. The other I stupidly moved to (apparently) a high spot of the concrete floor. The battery powered audible alarm is on the shelf waiting for a 9 volt battery.

15 gallons of slightly diluted salt water on the floor. Specific gravity 1.020 versus 1.026. No immediate casualties but will be looking closely over the next two weeks. Not feeling very smart today.

In the shopping cart:
Tunze 3155 osmolator
APEX leak detect sensor

October entry, Mrs. BC Bonfire gaining weight, she’s going to be a PLUMPY ONE, or should I say VOLUPTUOUS LOL . September was my month off , between fishing, starting a new business of my wife’s and I smoked fish dip and REEFING, I lost track of time, and my friend couldn’t come take the pictures. I am a terrible photographer plus I don’t have a camera besides my phone, maybe another endeavor of the reefing game that I have to get into, Lol , MO MONEY

Not growing much, but still alive. I spiked my all to 10.5 somehow last week. Lost my Spath (surprise) and a lot of others have just been plain ticked off. Note the burnt tips on the PC rainbow in front...
Bonfire doesn't seem to mind much though. Still just slowly basing out...

Sadly I must say I'm out.

I got a job offer across the country. I decided to sell off my tank vs risk the literal cross country move and kill everything. Is there anyone in here that would like to purchase my bonfire? I'm in Orange County, CA.

So sad I'm tearing it down. Losing so many corals I'm sentimental towards. Some life opportunities you can't pass up, this is one.

Sorry you have to tear down but I totally get it. Good luck with the relo. When can we expect a new build thread?
