Well I've been back after 25 years and learned so much in just 5 short months.
Something I never did back in the day was to culture Phyto or Pods, my best was Sea Monkeys lol
Today, I have both and in just 7 days split my first phyto culture and just today added Tigger pods to my repertoire.
Thanks R2R for access to a plethora of information and

thanks to the regulars who continually answer my rudimentary questions.
Hats off to the great people on this site!

Welcome to R2R!!!

I have always wanted to make my own Phyto but always wonder if I will crash too many
Give it a shot. I basically wash everything in rubbing alcohol and then rinse with tap water until the alcohol smell is gone. I'm growing my stuff in my basement, not exactly laboratory specs so my guess is as long as you sterilize everything you should be good.

Agree. In my experience it is very easy. My biggest issue initially was not enough bubbles(was way too slow like withy copepods).

I have had unexplained crashes some weeks, but i just restart from a refrigerated backup culture.

I see you in just about every meet n greet thread so you’re not new

but good work on the phyto. Thinking about trying my hand at the same down the road
I never said I was new, I said pods and phyto are new to me lol
2500 posts should have been a dead giveaway
