You’re not worried about it stinging the Sunkist? Beautiful piece!
I was at first and I have seen plenty of contact between them with no ill effects. In fact the mushroom was way out front and it made its way up under the Goni’s, prob for the shade. The seem to get along for now

I don’t know what kind they are but they are pretty cool and $50
Deep red with a blueish spot in the middle of the heads
Anyone know what kind of Goni it is ?

That’s good to know... it’s funny I had someone in my local FB group message me about there Goni stinging one of their Yumas. Just goes to show every tank and coral is different.

Just setup my Gilligan's Goni Garden. Had to get them away from my other softies to include a yuma that got hit (unrelated to story above). They were getting along good, then all of a sudden the half of the mushroom closest to the gonis started dying. Now they are
stranded on Gilligan's island where they cannot hurt anything else. Picked the 8" bonsai rack up the other day for $20 at P.A.

Five gonis are recently from Simon, other two are from a frag show last fall and filled in nicely. My Purple Queen Anthias thought this was all about her.

They are my favorite corals.

This was my last one. Loved aminos and iron supplement.

Going to dedicate a pillar to them in my next tank.

Top down shot and FTS. Wild red goni. It is in a 40 breeder kept under 2 XR15's pro, going on a year now. It was golf ball sized when I got it. I had to move the SPS away from it because the goni was stinging them.

I like the island! Might have to thing about one of those options. If this thread has taught me anything it’s that Goni’s and alveos are dangerous neighbors. They sit awful close to our frogspawn which probably needs another move.
Is that a mellow yellow/toxic Goni on the right?

Mine love aminos as well, part of me wants to say that’s what caused them to started extending as much as they have.

How does the nems live in harmony with everything?!? It’s a beautiful piece! Are those purple tentacles?

The yellow on the right is the atomic purple. The yellow mellow is up front. Hard to take a pic with them all together because the yellow is so bright.

They behave most of the time. Lol. The main problem is they split often then they end up moving over neighboring corals or up the wall. So I end up scraping them off or irritating them so they move off the corals. But they are rainbow anemones.
