Oh no, not again - new 310 gallon build and 6 or 8' growout replacement

OK, little bit of history -

Decided to get back into reefing last year and in May 2020 started a 125 gallon build. Got as far as freshwater leak check and a 240 gallon popped up locally.

Set up the 240 in July 2020 (also snagged an acrylic 6' growout tank), got about ready for corals, then decided to go back to a glass tank and thought why not go with an 8 foot tank?

So that leads to this week I ordered an aluminum stand from Alufab since they are local and I won't have shipping charges. Also ordered a Planet Aquariums Mega Matrix 310 gallon with external overflow. Getting quotes on a glass replacement for the growout system which is loaded - both 6' and 8' x 30" x 14". Will probably go with another aluminum stand for that setup.

Most of the equipment will be reused, thinking about going with two 3/4" return pumps instead of splitting the single return on the display. I will obviously have to get another 2' reefbreeder for the display and the growout if it ends up being 8'. Skimmers should work, sumps should work, heaters should be fine.
