Anyone have any idea what this guy is? He was hiding behind some algae. Found him today while cleaning.

Copy that! Thanks for the fast response. He's gone down the drain now... probably going to have them popping out of the sinks now. lol
if any bits broke off in removal, those will be popping back up in your tank - try and keep close eye out

I use Frank's F-Aiptasia to smother them

Using a syringe, inject either with lemon juice or better yet kalkwasser powder mixed with tank water into a paste the consistency of toothpaste into the center core and it will melt away

Thanks Vetteguy,

This is the only one I have ever seen in my tank.. I do have a peppermint shrimp in there so maybe he's getting them before I see them? As I said, this one was behind a clump of algae and kind of coming from under the rock.

Fingers crossed

I think I’ve got a tiny one on a finger leather I bought the other day. But I can’t quite see it the way the plug is turned. Been contemplating picking it up to inspect it, but the little guy has been through a lot these last couple days. My plan so far has been to wait a little while and see if it gets big enough for me to identify it.

May be the only one, but once they release cells, there are more. Best to get at it sooner than later

I understand.. I will get some Kalkwasser asap and keep an eye on the tank.. Can it be used as a general prevention? Broadcast through the tank to catch them before they are big enough to see?
