A buddy of mine offered me such a great deal on his used Seapora tank WITH stand that I couldn't say no.

So around August 10, 2021, this well-used tank was set up and plumbed into my existing softies system making the entire system to be around 200 gallon.

My initial intention was to piece together some used equipment that I collected over the years to build and document my journey.
I was not very good at sharing my journey on my initial display and this was a good way to start.

Goal - Bare-bottom Acropora-Dominant (First time for me doing this type)

All equipment and even fish are used ( still very much loved fishes!)

To start, this tank is a Seapora custom dimension (48x18x12) rimless with stand $200.
Two large rocks on the left are from my existing tank and the "white" ones are those I acquired but ended up not using from past build. ($30???)

2 x MP10s and 1 gyre - used I bought from a local WAMAS member $350.
1 x Radions G4 Pro XR30 - $300 (Local WAMAS member).
2 x Radions G4 Pro XR15 - $400 (Local WAMAS member).

All fish are from tank breakdowns by several WAMAS members recently.
1 yellow tang - $50 (IKR?!?!?!?!? )
1 kole eye tang - $50
3 x anthias - $75
Midas blenny, chromis, cardinal, shrimp - Free

Since the initial system I did not dose, I had to get a few items for dosing:
Dosing container (3 chambers) - Free from a friend (WAMAS)
3 x Kamoer X1 Bluetooth Dosers - $100 (used from Local WAMAS member).
TM All-For-Reef Powder $68.40.
KZ Flatworm Stop (I use this as preventative and coloration in my other system and really like it so want to continue with this one). $140.09.
Coral Amino - Free from WAMAS member breaking down tank.

So if you haven't noticed the trend, being involve with your local reef club is a great way to get great pricing on corals/fish/equipment. Not to mention, making great friends to help you along your journey.

Sump, skimmer, heaters, etc. are all with an existing system so no extra cost for me.

August 22nd, I added corals that were in my other system (so Free to me ;)).

I hope to share and keep up with this tank's journey on R2R! Thank you everyone for looking and following along with me.

I got a called today from a local hobbyist who has a bunch of large maxima clams he needs to sell. So a group of us got together and bought a few really nice looking clams. At $110 for 5+" clam, couldn't resist.

One of these beauts will be going into this Seapora build!!! Wish me luck

The BattleBrush from BattleCorals became very handy to have around. Might have to order another box to get me some more brushes
