Where did you find the files for that feeder door?

Also pro tip I learned from some russians youtubers.

Get any kind of protective film off way way way easier with steam. You can use the steam guns for laundry

Thanks for the tip. Got the feeder door from BRS. It was actually a freebie during their Christmas sale.

I'm getting back on the bus after 12 years off.
I'm hung up on the lights.... How did the Kessil AP9x work out for you?

Also, how is that roller matt filter???
I, in now way, want filter socks........
I love the AP9X. I am old school metal halide and T5 guy, so I need the shimmer in the tank.

Really, couldn't find another LED fixture with better shimmer.

Roller Mat filter is another reefing equipment I will never give up. I use to hate cleaning my filter socks. One reason I got out of the hobby last time.. :)

Well here comes another update. Well the update about 2 months overdue.;)

Here is my plumbing for the tank. Only issue I had was the bulkheads from IM. Has to replace 2x of them. No matter what they would leak.

So I just ordered this tank. And this is my first sump. Do you know how much water drained into your sump when the return pumps are off?

It varies based on the way your system is set up. The higher the pipes in your overflow are the less water drains out. It is good to research this a bit more in-depth. You want to make sure your sump can handle it with out over filling and spilling into the cabinet.

Sorry everyone for super long time from last post.

Life always gets the best of you when you have teenage kids.

Right now the tanks has had it's up and downs. More downs than ups.

I am pretty sure everyone can guess I have completed the build and the tank is up/running. But I don't want leave out the build details.

So, I guess I will continue where I left off.

Here is where I put the rock in and started filling the tank. What do you guys think about the aquascaping?

While the tank was filling I worked on few mods for the sump since space was limited.

I decided to DIY heater mount with 2x BRS 200 watt heaters. Worked out really well and not issues over last 2 years.

I agree. I actually do the fancy math to figure out the volume needed. I just guesstimate ;) .

Worked out for me, I have about 3" left in the sump after the main pumps are turned off.

Hey Tivo..

Sorry for late reply, but I love the setup. Just wish I went bigger.
looking good

i hear ya about wishing you went bigger! i would but would have to buy a new Home first LOL

Are you planning to seed the dry rock with some LR? My 75 has been fun but I just recently had a pretty big RTN event on my big grotto rock and it wiped everything out except for a few frags i was able to salvage.

Since i pulled the piece from the system, i had ordered some LR from Gulfliverock. Pretty nice big pieces too! I just have to figure out the new aquascape AGAIN!

Great tank for sure !!!!

Here is my Kessil mount Ap9x to the wall at the back of tank. The mount will swivel the lights out of the way to allow for easier access to the tank.
