I’ve had to start feeding more and dose nitrates just to keep N & P from bottoming out! Everything is looking really good albeit a bit pale so imma just go with it. New baby Purple tang is gobbling bubble algae which is exactly why I got him which is awesome!

Solar Flare Millie really hit the ground running! Here’s when I mounted it a couple weeks ago and today:

Installed a new Ultra Reef Akula 160 this week as the hum from the BK just kept annoying me. Surprise, the AC Sicce Psk on this hummed just as much. Ordered the DC upgrade kit and it’s whisper quiet and skimming nicely. I don’t like adding points of failure and I’m not thrilled about a nice Italian piece of equipment relying on a Chinese power supply but I guess, what DC pump doesn’t?

Forest Fire digi getting too big probably time to chop it down but I just like the look of a mature colony and the contract it provides. Almost hitting the glass on 3 sides!

Couple other colonies need some trimming as well to allow continued maintenance.

Added a nice green and white torch for some movement.

Nobody shows you white pics of dragon soul, hellfire, etc gold torches which tells me they look brown and fleshy under full spectrum so I’ll stick to the basic, beautiful, and REASONABLY PRICED.

Feeling like since I started adding Tropic Marin A and K to my 2 part I’m getting more coralline growth on the glass and everything is growing better. Before I never got any coralline on the glass just the rocks and pumps.

Added a Tunze High Jet pump and relocated my ATO reservoir to the basement right next to my RO reservoir so no more lugging 5g jugs upstairs!! 1/4” RO tubing fit fine into the 6mm push connect fitting and extended the leads with some 18g speaker wire I had a roll of.

Not much else to report. Added a CC Hellboy, 30k Lokani, and ORA red goni all doing well.

Ope turns out I can keep Millies just fine, but only SOME. Ones from Adam dont seem to do well for me but this one I got from a local reefer this winter is doing ok haha.
