It was just so unexpected. Tank transfer from redsea to waterbox to avoid seam failures, replaced live sand with crushed coral. Re-used 80% of teh tank water and all of the gulf live rock.
Somehow I went from ~12 nitrate and .4 phos, to bottomed out, and poof, this nightmare. After my meeting right now I'll go set up dosing for neonitr/neophos and microbacter7, and maybe in a few days we'll start to see improvements, if not, i'll bite the bullet on a pentair UV setup.
It’s definitely a good time in the journey. Retired postal worker so yes watching corals grow is the new normal. A great and enjoyable hobby. Imitating creation, what a gift!

My corals are starting to grow really fast and 99% of the gha I had is gone!! Very excited to be over the ugly stage!
