That time again where I find myself speechless.

This is a Malaysian tenuis I picked up earlier this year. This is a unique piece in that some parts are more yellow corralites with pink accents. The other side would be more pink corralites with yellow accent. The tips, have these “swirls” of colors.

Lights: t5 and reefbrites xho around 400 par.

All pics are under lights below with different intensity.

WOW. JUST WOW. Where'd it come from? How did it look when you first got it? Was it a frag or colony when you got it? how big is the colony now?
Sorry for all the questions just extremely impressed with those swirls of colors.

Why does it have to be a tenuis? I would be super excited if it was any other species. How long have you had the coral in your tank? These graftlike swirls rarely stay for me when I see them on wild corals like this. But it still looks like the other colors will hold. The graftlike swirls always fade into one solid color, but maybe it’s just bad luck for me?
I would be impressed and would love to see if you took some pictures of it under daylight (whitest light you have at least), and I wish you luck on the colors holding.

I would also bet there are a bunch of nice colored acropora pieces like this out in that area and hope that we start getting them in asap. the Aussie stuff coming to the us is boring for collectors at this point.
Tristanfish, do you have any other cool pieces that originated in Malaysia? I would love to see some more pics if so.

That can’t be real, unreal maybe. That pretty much takes the cake.

This is a Malaysian colony. Frags won’t be available for quite some time.
