Not a shell-less snail. Snails keep their organs in their shells, losing their shell will kill them. That's a stomatella snail, which has a very small shell. It's a beneficial algae-eater, keep it.

Hard to catch without hurting them, mostly, and at least somewhat nocturnal. Possibly they don't ship well? They should be sold. And given that some species breed in captivity, I'm a little surprised no one really seems to have tried it yet.

Agreed, you have to be gentle with them as their shells are delicate and fragile. And they will sometimes lose parts of their foot if they feel threatened.

What's the reason they're not sold ?
They end up in tanks as hitchhikers only, mainly because they come out at evening and night when collectors are in bed already
