yes. just make sure it is thick enough or spread out evenly enough to areas of what you're supergluing are exposed because chances are it will move or spawn another head there.
Yeah its reef putty used for glueing frags so it's really thick stuff and should absolutely smother it.

Find yourself something that will eat it. That’s the end goal.

I quarantined and super glued the entire base of my lobo…and aiptasia came out in the display tank.

QT is not gonna solve it IMO. Just get an aiptasia eater.

But you just said you found 5 new ones last week ;)
In my sump - Not my tank especially with a blue head kleini and copperband butterfly in my display. I did add Chaeto a month ago and likely derived from them. When i changed filter socks is when i saw them annd dropped kalk paste and theyre still gone as I watched them melt down right away

Aptasia x helped me get rid of several. For months I had 1 (I could see) and tried to kill a few times it but it kept coming back so I gave up. Never saw any others. This week, I saw the aptasia X and figured “why not” and hit it again. Got it right on target and saw the thing immediately “melt” before any chance to retract.

I haven't had trouble with them spreading. I have 2 living in a blue Ridge for over a year and there are still just two. I'm in the minority I know but I don't understand freaking out over a few aiptasia much less one.
I agree!!
