Hey! I’ve been thinking about rescaping my 10g Nuvo. I think that the rocks should sit against the back wall and it should be scaped to where it is easier to place corals on the rocks. But I’m afraid to try to rescape it and liking it less than what it looks like now. Do you think it looks good now or would you redo it?
Please ignore the hammer coral I am trying to get to recover. Lol

Thank you! Do you think the rocks in the back should be against the wall though?

That scape looks slick with the blues on ! If you moved the rock back it barley be noticeable when you look through the front of the tank ... right now your getting flow all around the rock which isn’t a bad thing .

I agree. You do not want any dead spots, no water movement in specific areas of the tank. This will effect algae growth etc. Many reefers use extra power heads to move water through these areas.

Looks great! Any dead spots in that book between rocks though? That would be my only concern. Flow all accumulate detritus and deposits right there.

I like your scape... particularly the base. It looks very natural. If you're asking for criticism, I'd say the big rock on top doesn't look as natural and seamless as the rest. Whether you end up with it against the back glass, or in it's orginal position, filling in the gaps with some smaller pieces or rubble might tie it together and give you a few high perches for coral.

I like it as is just fine too. I'm sure the coral growth will tie it together in its own time.
