What is the difference between the ORA purple stylophora and the milka stylophora? Are they the same strain? Are they different strains?

Who knows. Unfortunately, as hobbyests we don't have any way to verify genotypes and clone lines. Corals can adjust their photobiology and skeletal structure to their environment so two different appearing corals might actually be the same cloneline.

Jake from Reef Builders wrote an article back in 2013 in regards to the origin of the Milka basically stating that this species of Stylopora Pistillata came from the Red Sea and was imported to an aquarium in France. I received mine years ago from Sanjay. I think I remember reading that ORA received their piece From Julian. I don’t think that they are the same coral. My Milka grows yellowish tips with long branches while my ORA purple tips are more pinkish red and grows more bush like.
