Orange slime ? Sponge ?

Not sure what this is growing on my GSP colony. It’s spreading down into the sand. After some research I think maybe a sponge ? Tank is new. Only 2 months old so could be cyano ? It started from the frag and moved down.

Yea the GSP is totally fine. This pic was taken after lights out to better see the orange.
That makes me lean more toward a sponge, but it's not one I have seen or recognize. Generally I would say it's a great score if it is a sponge, they are great for diversity and fitration and expulsion of life into the aquarium.

I think it looks cool where it is I just don’t want it to spread all over the place. Or if it was toxic I’d want to get rid of it as well.
