Want to get more macro algae, however, my LFSs don't carry anything except chaeto, and online sellers seem to be out of stock often. Alyssa's Seahorse Savvy seems to have a decent selection and good prices. . . but I have never ordered from there before and. . . shipping is $40 for algae. Maybe I'm just naive or spoiled, but overnight shipping seems excessive for algae?

Has anyone ordered from there recently?

Anywhere else sell Macro with cheaper shipping?

if I do buy how should I treat the macro before adding it to the tank?

I’ve ordered from Alyssa before and everything has been great! I’ve purchased both macro and gorgonians from them and everything came in super healthy.
I also love these girls: https://www.kandpaquaculture.com/
They have a lot of different macros if that’s what you’re mainly looking for and their shipping is a little cheaper. Everything I’ve ever ordered from them has been super healthy as well, including pods and phyto.
