Well new tank is on a truck so I guess its time to start my build thread. First a little about my current tank. I bought a Red Sea e170 about 4.5 years ago. It has been up and running the entire time and even survived a move back in October of 2019. I had my ups and downs with the tank and struggled with sps for the longest time. When we moved I decided I was going to use the opportunity of the move to really focus on trying to keep sps. In preparation for the move I removed all the BTA’s that had taken over the tops of the rock and a few corals that had gotten really big but were just basic corals. Here is what the tank looks like now.
Well on to the new tank info. I really like cubes and wanted some more water volume so when I came across the IM int 112 I was sold. It was exactly what I was looking for. I have spent some time planning what equipment I am going to run with it and have even already acquired some of it prior to tank arriving bit I will show more of that off as the build comes along. I had a giant colony of Dragon Soul torch that I had been growing and fragging occasionally that had 11 heads that I was able to cut into 7 big heads with the help of a fellow reefer. I sold all but one frag and ordered my rock. I have been using e marco 400 to glue all this rock together for the centerpiece of the scape. This scape has taken me hours to get just right and I am super happy with how it has turned out. I will keep this updated as the build comes along.
