Do you have any idea if these arm mounts can be installed on the light in a 'long' orientation rather than 'wide'? I have a peninsula, so I would love to use an arm mount and install the light in an orientation where it's going to be covering more of the tank. I had the same issue with the Kessil AP9X, which was the main reason I didn't get that light.
The holes are all in line so you should be able to mount it parallel or perpendicular. I haven’t tried since I did the t-slot stuff but if it can hold the Atlantik, this should be easy enough.

I believe ,from just looking at it, it will hold the light perpendicular.

The question is *should* you do it that way?
The weight distribution is a bit problematic as I see it.
but that only from a visual aspect and the fact I have yet seen anyone do it that way (brief internet search).

There is this one that used a Halo tank mount and apparently 1 screw.
Relatively small unit though.

They look interesting. Be nice to have mounting options besides hanging. A bracket similar to radions or the noopsyche x brackets so they could be mounted on an 80 /20 rack similar to this would be nice

will the atlantik series be discontinued in the future to focus on this series?

I like the more compact size and tighter grouping of the leds for sure.
At this stage, we are going to continue supporting Atlantik as long as people are showing demand for it.

We are Orphek…all about giving people what they want

These are some crazy looking lights!
I know

A much more slim design profile so stores can get a good deal on getting them shipped bulk. Much lighter this time around and easier to ship out at a lower shipping price and keep the costs down for everyone this time.

Widest and most detailed spectrum there is as far as I can see…

Year long seasonal programs based on the length of day at any location in the world.

Full spectrum moonlight below 1% on a monthly phase.

Passing cloud simulation…

Hard to beat that
The next step would be to make it rain….haha

I just got them in recently and mounted them up on my tank yesterday. I replaced two Atlantik iCons with three of the Naturas and so far the light coverage in the tank looks better. I opted to go with these because I needed more lighting but couldn’t fit another Atlantik in my canopy. The tank is a 180g 72x24x24 and the length of the Atlantik was too much to fit perpendicular to the tank so they had to go parallel. Even that way, I would only be able to fit two and maybe a compact but these I felt were a better option. It looks like I can probably add one more parallel to the tank or a couple more if I turn them perpendicular.

I will say that the disco ball effect is pretty much gone now. I used to see a bit with the Atlantik but the tighter spread of the LED’s and the dual chip seems to have eliminated it.

I’ll have to pull some PAR readings in the near future but I’m running the standard Helius program for now and the look is pretty good. We’ll see if I need to tweak it around a bit and play with some of the other features. I did see that they added an easier setting adjustment for the time and channels… that used to be a pain to set a custom schedule but it looks way easier now. I’m looking forward to trying that out and seeing if it’s really as easy as it looks.

we made it really easy to design the best program this time with the latest iCon app system.

Best way is to start with the science. That’s your Helius program.
That has all the best ratios of each nanometer wavelength to feed corals exactly what they want.

Then just bend it a little as possible towards what looks personally best to your eyes. Then you have the best of both.

It’s the best looking science base program there is

They look interesting. Be nice to have mounting options besides hanging. A bracket similar to radions or the noopsyche x brackets so they could be mounted on an 80 /20 rack similar to this would be nice

And then with Euro-braced tanks, we have these to use together.

And then for Eruo-braced tanks we have these to connect on the tank cabinet or wall. https://orphek.com/mounting-arm-extension/
And then when people want to add on OuR bars, they can use this to connect to the system.

I'd prefer an arm mount. I've always got my hands in the tank so a tank rested rail system probably wouldn't be the best for me(might get in my way) and I'm just no where near as handy to DIY something like you did! :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

We have a range of mounting gear available…all the products right here

All these things we work with you together on a personal service.

Perhaps we also have a local aquariums store near you that I can direct you to that might have some stock.

I just received mine today! I also purchased the universal fixing bracket so I can hang them with the 2 OR4’s I recently got as well. My problem is that I cannot figure out how on earth to hang these 3 units with the universal fixing bracket. I had emailed them to ask, but they couldn’t help. :confused-face: Couldn’t find anything on YouTube either. Does anyone know how?
To use the Fixing Bracket Kit, you would need 3x Fixing Bracket Kits.
One pair for each Natura.

Then add the OR4 bars on the font and back and the whole thing becomes one large lighting structure

I would need a bracket to attach the lights to an existing 80 20 mounting system. This is my current mounting system and being able to move the lights up to work in the tank is not something I would be willing to sacrifice.

EDIT : this is a radion bracket to give an idea. I just drilled a hole in the center of the bracket when I ran xr15s. Something similar to to fit the atlas would really expand the mounting options for those of us that already have a mounting system in place.

I have four OR4 bars running on each side of a RedSea Pendant for 160s LEDs I am wanting to replace. I am planning to use the bolt/ screw holes on the cross bars for two of the Natura icons and perhaps hand the middle one directly from wire to ceiling. TBD.

Are you positioning them front to back as rectangles or wide side to side across your tank?
This is how I am positioning them. I have not tried them out yet since I haven’t figured out how to hang them with the universal hanging bracket I purchased from them.
