Yes, cell phone cameras are great. iPhone camera is far smarter than me.

That orchid was loaded with buds in late summer, wasn't it? It must be looking gorgeous now.

Actually the buds only emerged a week ago. There are 7 open blooms and 3 more buds that should be open in 3 - 4 days.
I am always amazed at how quickly the buds emerge and blooms open compared to the growth rate of the orchid itself.

I grew orchids years ago. Mine were never that beautiful.
