I've done everything by the book the best I could!
QT'ed every single fish, dipped every coral and removed every plug and still got ich in the DT.

Purchased a Blue, Yellow and sailfin tang...spent 46 days in QT.
Even saved the Blue and Royal Gramma!
(1) EMERGENCY - Blue Tang & Royal Gramma in bad shape! | REEF2REEF Saltwater and Reef Aquarium Forum
30 days in copper power @ 2.5 and 3 treatment of general cure.
None presented any signs of Ich during that time in QT.

DT has been up since 8/20 with no signs of Ich or anything on any fish prior to these new additions.
Now I have the blue and what seems the yellow with ich.

I've had a UV running since day one 24/7 and feed 3 times a day!
Feed - ROD's, Sustainable Aquatics Pellets, Hikari Seaweed Extreme Pellets, and Two Little Fishies Green, Purple, and Red Seaweed sheets!
Selcon every few days!

What I've been doing for the last few days:
Mixed Selcon and Seachem GarlicGard with Rod's before I feed.
Selcon on the seaweed sheets and started with dosing Polyp Lab Medic twice a day!

What else could I do?'
Can't go fallow with 15+ fishes.
Don't have the room nor the tanks to do that.

Can you post pictures? Can you describe the visible symptoms?

Here's a few videos @Jay Hemdal

This morning as I feed...continues to eat

Last Night:

@vetteguy53081
I feed a mix diet of -
  • ROD's (once in the evening)
  • Mix of Sustainable Aquatics & Hikari Seaweed Extreme Pellets in the AFS twice a day
  • Two Little Fishies Green, Purple, and Red Seaweed sheets. I rotate half a sheet daily...but seems they don't like the red!
  • Forgot, live brine from the LFS daily.
--- Edit ---
No aggression from anyone...except from the yellow that once in a while goes after the sailfin.
Not even from the chromis or the anthias since I've increase my feed amount.

Bump up the diet. Although they are herbivores, they need meats, fats and aminos.
Add:
Spirulina brine shrimp
LRS herbivore diet
Formula 2 flake and frozen
Hikari veggie diet
Hikari marine cuisine

Also add selcon vitamins and garlic extract to the foods for stamina and immunity health

Yup that pretty much what I feed with the exception of Formula 2 and Spirulina brine shrimp.
This is what I buy: Rod's Food
Am planning on making my own food based on BRS video on Reef Chili

I’m not seeing ich on the tang, the spots seem too large and protrude to far. Is this fish really tiny? Maybe it’s a perspective thing, and it does have ich, but I’m leaning more to stressed induced mucus plugs- common in this species after copper, and sometimes if they have flukes.
Do any other fish have spots?
Have you treated for flukes?
Jay

Used general cure while in QT after the 30 days in copper power.
I've not seen any other fish scratch it self other than the blue hippo.
Can't really tell on the yellow tang but seem like a bit "bumpy" on it sides.

Not sure if it's skinner but the blue hippo is about 2" maybe!
I feed what I consider pretty heavy...and a mix diet.
I'll rather deal with slight high NO3/PO4 and a little algae then borderline starving fish :)
If they start climbing, I increase my ATS light period.
Learned in my short time, that lessen aggression when they are fat and happy.

Have prazi on hand from a previous issue with popeye on an anthia!
Should I dose that cause catching the blue tangs is going to be difficult to confirm flukes w/ a FWD

Hello!
I have dealt with ich in nearly tank for the last 15 years. I stopped QT a while ago as I feel its cruel and have definitely experienced far less losses!
Ich is okay, the less the fish is stressed the better. Feed frozen soaked in seachem reef and seachem vitality, or a similar product. Do this for a while, I still do it once or twice a week and haven't seen ich in my tank in a while. Very good water parameters and good feedings often, also nori is great I see you are doing that.
A tang of mine had it about 8 months ago when I got him, this method worked, a few months later I added a foxface that had another strain, again this method cleared it up in a few weeks.
Flukes may be more likely than ich, I am not as familiar with them as it has been a long time. FW dip is a risky but easy way to find out.

To someone new in the hobby and reading all the different forums and watching videos, Ich seems like a never ending cycle. Thanks for this.

UPDATE:

Had to do 3 rounds of prazi but look like I have it under "control"

It did spared to my yellow, sailfin and blue tang...also notice the foxface with spots!
I did loss my Royal Gramma :( (My first lost) to it.
That was a hard since I "saved it" from the LFS and in QT.
Was proud of myself with that fish!

Everyone else is doing super! All eat everything I drop in the tank!
The blue hippo on occasions I do see a few white spots once in a while.
Learned to live it...as long as it eats fine and it stays "in check"

To @StPatrick89 point-
There is SOOOO much information to someone new like myself...it's like "what the _____do I do!"

But I do think it was Flukes and I believe it came in via coral frag!...was trying this for a few days before prazi.
