Thanks so much. Glad to have you following along!Just stumbled on this thread by accident, and I read through all 44 pages. What a ride, Joe. What a ride. I’m so grateful to you for sharing your experiences on reefing, life, and everything in between. Bless you. Looking forward to following along on all the reef updates ahead.
Does your Po4 stay pretty consistent at .02? I get nervous when it gets that low and end up putting reef roids in. Btw the spike was a false readLet's see those Po4 numbers.

I always shoot for a very low phosphate number, with the natural sunlight if I have any type of elevated Po4 algae does start to grow pretty rapidly. I try to keep it between .02 to .05 seems to be the sweet spot with keeping the algae growth to a minimum.Does your Po4 stay pretty consistent at .02? He has been a model citizen, I had a Lemonpeel that wasn't he nipped everything. I couldn't wait to catch that lemonpeel and get it out. What’s been your experience with this type of fish?
My flame was the opposite of a model citizen. He nipped everything. 1 month after removing him I saw polyp extension. I think it’s a 60/40 shot of being a nipper. He has been a model citizen, I had a Lemonpeel that wasn't he nipped everything. I couldn't wait to catch that lemonpeel and get it out.
Wow! Totally amazing! I just found your build thread and read all 44 pages. It really touched me a about the loss of your beautiful wife. I just lost my wonderful 74byr old dad on June 5th 2022, so it really resonated with me, I am a daddy's girl forever. Even though I have a great husband, the loss is profound. I lost my 72 year old mom 11 months before my dad. I did two dedication reef tank videos to each of them. They were divorced but were my biggest supporters.Following me around the tank, waiting for food. It's coming guys.

Beautiful tank . And happy anniversaryHello friends, it's the 11-year anniversary of our natural sun-lit reef tank. It has been one bumpy ride. Thanks so much for the continued support through the years. I can safely say my experiment using natural sunlight to light my reef has been a success! Please enjoy a few pictures of the reef!
Happy reefing!
In memory of my loving wife, Kelly!
Joe
