I have a large female in my reef tank to reduce the Aquilonastra sea star infestation there and house a small male in the sump (out of fear he may end up as a Marine Betta snack). Maintaining enough little Aquilonastra sea stars for them is an issue and feeding them the large Protoreaster sea stars is way too costly in the long run aside from the ethical concerns of shipping these sea stars half around the world just to feed a few shrimp.
Someone really needs to find a suitable and sustainable substitute food to maintain these guys.
