A good before / after t5 /led tank is the red Sea max at Bioreef up the road from you. Those Hydras are bad to the bone. Of course t5s grew the tank out in the first place.

My paled out corals have all colored back up and I have been bumping up my lights. Right now my 6 bulb T5 is 36" away from the sand bed and the 2 actinic bulbs are at 75% and the 3 blue + and x1 purple + are at 50%. I'm doing 5% weekly increase on both channels. I've learned that running the bulbs lower than 100% actually decreases their lifespan. I thought it was opposite of that. Crazy T5s...

I have one Monti (superman monti) that has paled up, It has done this before and then came back. To much kryptonite in the system

@john.m.cole3 and @jsker , I finally got the light hung. It is 6.5" from the water line. Going to see if this works, if not then I will have to take out the shelf. 4 hours yesterday and my fiancée telling me I couldn't do it on my own, it is done.

Quick update on the progress. I was messing around with auto dosing Pro Bio s and if had some bleaching going on. As suggested by @120reefkeeper I striped to much of the nutrients out. I am now letting the affected corals come back and will start playing with the auto dosing again. Lights are doing well and I am very happy with the growth.

I have a individual plan with adobe cloud with all the apps for $50.00 a month that I use on two desktops. Look at the student plan same thing, it on sale for $20 a month. I use the heck out of it now.
