Our New 800 gallon tank! So excited

Well... couldnt really wait any longer for the new 300 series maxspect gyres to come out...

Tank needed flow bad... I got 2 of the maxspect 280's and they are very impressive to say the least.

Haven't really played with the settings yet, but at 50% power they sure are making a nice storm!

I love my 280s, but they are noisy [emoji22]I run them pointing at each other, 7’ apart. Max of 60%. I don’t have any sand storms, but the sand in the center has been pushed away a little.

I’m looking forward to the 300s or maybe something else. I’ll wait to see what is released around MACNA.

I really dont find them that loud. Theres a slight hum to them like any pump imo... I'm running them on 50% at the moment. I dont have sand... bb on black aycric. Little bit of sand in the front display area....
I was trying to wait for the 300 series as well... I'm sure I'll be picking those up once their out. Nothing wrong with more flow right!

Here is an idea for cooling the back, I’m using it in my electronics cabinet and got the idea from @elder45

You can hook up to 6 fans to one controller and they come in a bunch of different sizes (they are designed for cooling AV cabinets

Finally had a chance to install these fans with controller you recommended. Love the unit for sure. I installed the controller in the uv transformer box... plenty of space in there. I also stacked two fans on top of each other and they are blowing out 2 large exhaust holes about 3 inches in diameter.

Look at that rats nest of wires behind that control panel... omg... all the power blocks are mounted on back wall ... wires are packed in there!

I also was able to install the refuge lights today.... they are mounted on a slide rail so they move out of the way if need be...
