The beginning of my thread was not so good so here it is a little improvement:

My wife and I decided to build a new house, we live in Aguascalientes, Mexico. As part of the new house I decided to upgrade my current 70L nano AIO to a Red Sea Max S-500. I put it together along with two friends from the LFS. The tank was crazy heavy. The set up was done with dry rock and I am using Red Sea Coral Pro salt.

I went with a Red Sea Max as I needed a gorgeous tank because it is in my living room and needed something to be neat and good looking, no cables whatsoever is another of the characteristics I liked. The Hydra 26 HD lights make a great job but the skimmer is subpar. It is a shame Red Sea does not give the option to buy the system without a skimmer. I immediately detected I would need a chiller since it is may and the tank is running at 26 C already. After 5 weeks of cycling the tank was ready to receive the fish and corals from my nano, my clowns, chromis, crabs and corals went in without any problem. They thrived from the beginning, the only adjust I had to make is to dim the lights as the Red Sea recommended settings were bleaching my duncans.

The skimmer is so so but I cannot get ride of some micro bubbles, does anybody has experience on this?

If it's producing micro bubbles try turning down the Red valve on the outlet manifold from the main pump to around 1/3rd open. This controls the amount of water through the skimmer and should hopefully stop the bubbles?

When I set my 650 up this solved the problem for me as I had it set at fully open for weeks and the skimmer was doing all sorts of odd things.

I tuned a bit the skimmer but from the the valve in the skimmer itself in the direction you suggested and added sock in the tube were the skimmer water ends. Great result, thank you for the advise.

Tiny blue tang, mandarin, angel coral beauty, fox face, stylophora and acro added!

Today the Red Sea cover net cover arrived.

I also notice I have too many pyramid snails and are making the DT messy. I will order a melanurus wrasse to take care of them.

Update....

Two diamond gobies had been added (have made a great job against dinos), a melanarus wrasse to deal with pyramid snails, cleaner wrasse, florida ricordea and other frags.

From equipment stand point, my chiller is back and working, I added a 35 W UV filter and an auto feeder.

Well the aptasia just passed as I moved those rocks with lot of troubles but finally got it it and buried it.

The tank is aptasia free again, it has been 13 months already and still without aptasia, I ran in so many troubles with aptasia in my previous nano that now I have zero tolerance for them.

I am just again in TN today so the pic is from the cam.

Did I mention my Melanarus wrasse was lazy? He used to come out at around 4PM and go bed at 10PM since I bought him, well the last 3 days he has been up from 10AM all the way to 10PM, maybe he was not comfortable with the tank mates. So officially he is not lazy anymore [emoji41].
