So I stumbled across this light when i saw the Maritza The Vase Reef that's been the talk of the town when it comes to nano/pico/uniqueness and of course vase reefs, but what caught my eye was the light that was used and then as time progressed seeing how the coral grew and with the ABI 12W Tuna Blue LED Bulb Coral Reef Optimized Spectrum PAR38. Here's Maritza The Vase Reef if anyone isn't familiar with it.

I was suggested by Maritza to give the ABI Tuna Blue light a try. He told It's Proven, and it works..
I mean look at Maritza The Vase Reef, that's what they've used, and have always used the ABI LEDs.
Bulb cost me $24.95 for the 12 watt version there is also a 24 watt at $39.95 but that's way too much for my 4.6 gallon. I bit the bullet and I went for it. I'm still waiting to receive the gooseneck for the light from BRS but I'll post photos when I do get it going on my tank. Here's my build if anyone is interested. https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/mushroom-4-6-gallon-aquamaxx-rimless-tank.283507/

Following; that is one heck of a nano tank idea!

finally got it on the 4.6 but for a quick moment I put it on my 25 gallon to see what the corals look like while
I get some mushrooms for the 4.6 and here's how they looked.

Keep in mind it's 12 watts so it's not supposed to fill up my main tank just the 4.6 and as you can see it's making it glow.

Looks great!

I actually have one of these set up on my Touch Tank at work. I leave it on 24/7 to keep a healthy amount of algae growing on the rocks for our urchins. I've been wondering if I should get one for my 10g nano.

these work well. Sure there are better lights on the market but these look good and grow coral. My work nano is thriving on one.
