Just weird particals. Kinda looks like phyto cell clumps. I can't push any more air. I'm growing tetra phyto and I sterilized everything with 71% rubbing alcohol.

Only thing I can think of is I didn't let my saltwater mix for the recommended 3 hours. I waited to what I thought was clear and started. When I started it wasn't that clear. This is my second batch, first round went flawlessly.

Every now and then i noticed also those in my phyto. Years back, and, recently, when i started again.

Like little green flakes, or similar. Not sure why it forms, but really never noticed any problems with it, neither in fresh batch, or one from the fridge....

Btw, i noticed in video that you have more "bubbles" than i have in my bottles, so, probably, it's not a "not enough air flow" thing....

Yeah my batch is thriving. Curious, my batches have tons of clumps on the bottom but it's still a thick green.

I have habbit to shake jars once a day, just to stir culture a bit....

Probably no need for that, but....

I use a fin sieve (55 or 100 micron) once i a while if I notice too many particals (flakes..) of dead phyto, and clean the container then the culture are back on track
