I got my anemone in my tank and my clowns have no interest. I’ve seen / read many things on ways to help them. Mainly the pictures and feeding around it and then the tube to it.

may question is I have a fish net. If I net them then kinda put them over the nem would this be more traumatizing than helpful?

I know it can take a long time but I’m wondering if I can help it along ;)

When I get my anemone and clowns, I plan to use a breeder box. I will put it upside and slowly remove the cover right on top of the anemone, close to it.

That’s how I released my YWG and pistol shrimp together.

I’m not sure about a net.

I had it in a Breeder box. I should have done that originally. My nem is very happy where it is so no chance I’m moving it. I just cannot wait to see them mingling

I wouldn't net them. Too much chance to catch a fin or mouth IMO and stressful.

If you didn't get a natural pairing like maroon and BTA or Occelaris and carpet, it may not ever happen no matter what you do. What kind of clowns/nem do you have ?

On a few occasions, I've used a "critter carrier" set on the bottom. Put a few rocks in to weigh it down, insert clownfish and anemone and give it a week.

Nothing yet haha
I’ve heard anecdotes that videos work better than photos. Maybe try setting up a phone or tablet by the glass. Unfortunately CB clowns dont always host. I’ve never kept a clown that hosted anything other than a powerhead lol. Good luck :)

My clowns have always been hosted by anemones. I did not intervene. It just took time.
