I have a lightly used Arid N18. It is in great shape and grows chaeto really well. The only thing I don't have a the strands used to go between the interior plates. I got tired of pulling the chaeto out of them and having to reuse them.

I ordered a new interior piece for the unit, I had received several questions about the plastic strands I had removed so now you get two sets for the interior. 1) whole setup without plastic 2) whole setup with plastic strands. With or without these it does not change how the unit functions. These are in place to give the chaeto something to hold on too. The two acrylic plates stay in place with or without these.
