Update on my build, important changes that I’m slowly implementing:

Switching to Fauna Marin method (salt changed, will start Balling Light).

Soon starting coral supplements (Min S, Vitality, Sprint).

Already dosing carbon and will try Bacto Energy.

Possibly I will start zeo for better nutrient control and will replace my GFO for Phos 0.04.

As nutrients will get lower I’m decommissioning my refugium, keeping that zone in the dark with more media and substrate.

Ive been planning for some time to change my SPS island aquascape.

A friend of mine is a real Brazilian talent for artificial rocks: Rodrigo Calvetti, Calvetti Rocks.

So I gave him my ideas:
- spatially distribute my SPS more
- multiple levels raising high from front to back
- trying to avoid overlaping of each platform from the frontal view
- drilling holes for SPS placement with plugs

So he made this rock that I consider a masterpiece:

So I did some studies for my new SPS placement…

So the Rocks arrived, and with small changes this is my current layout of this island:

I trimmed my forest fire monti as it was too dissonant from the other corals.

That's a nice shaped rock you got!

Did I see a BTA in one of your pictures?
