Hi there, I'm just checking to see if there are any updates. Is she eating well yet? Any recent pictures and/or videos will be much appreciated.

Have any local reefers seen the peppermint eat in the last couple of days? I'm very curious to know how it's doing. Thanks in advance.

I haven't been by to see it lately but it was in excellent health when I was there. A friend stopped by and found out it was sold but it's being held for some while until the new owner is ready for the little guy.

Eating great, the whole process couldn't be going any better or smoother for us. He grazes all day long, we've tried to make it as natural as possible yet still acclimate him into an aquarium environment so he gets used to the feeding regimen and everything that goes with it. We should have more updates as the month progresses. Thank you!

Any update how's the peppermint doing? update pics?

So far he is doing great! We are currently working on a little video to release before the month is over

Thanks for the update. That awesome the pep is doing well for you guys. Has it eaten any frozen food or pellets yet?

We enrich all frozen foods but what it has eaten so far: Live Brine, Freshly Hatched Live Brine, Frozen Brine, Frozen Mysis, Frozen Clams on a Half Shell, Frozen Rogger's Reef Food Complete Plus Blend, And also 3 types of raw seaweed we rotate as well constant grazing on copepods which we boosted the population with some pods from AlgaGen. So thus far the little guy eats better than we do!

Thank you! And we definitely will have a video out before the end of the month as well as some new photos.. Stay tuned!

Great news. What temp are you keeping the tank at where the fish is?

Our little guy was collected in a new area, the diver reported 77 and 76 degrees in the area he was caught. The tank he is in doesn't change from 75.9 - 76.0, we do have the ability to drop the temperature if we need to, however it was not recommended by the diver, due to the area he had collected the fish was warmer than previous specimens.

I was at LRO a couple weeks ago and the peppermint was sold. Was actually sold months ago but remained at the store. I've seen this fish several times and it was always foraging for pods and I was told it was eating well

I hope to see it when we visit LRO during our visit to Orlando for Reef A Palooza in a couple weeks. I hear the Pep has taken a liking to LRS Foods.
