Don't stress. Just watch. I know how mine acted. Luckily, I had been forewarned. I'm new too. Seriously going to hang the serenity prayer on the back of my stand door.

Fwiw.

I had(still do) candy canes that I repeatedly killed for over two years.

Kinda learned a lot from that.

Now they have 8 or 10 heads.
Only took three years

Lol.

I hope it works out too.
Ya learned something though.
To double check my corals from the dang store thats what.. Im already feeling to buy live stock from my second main store even though its further away i feel they do a better job in taking care of everything.
Off those three small branches i counted a total of 15 flatworms to come off total.. Me personaly i feel thats alot..
On a side note away from killing and torturing corals i also picked up 2 nassurus snails and gotta say these guys are freaking awesome. I love them!! Their like submairines rising from the depths when they come out. All you see is a cloud of bubbles then boom racing off to get mysiys shrimp lol

Very cool. I love the small stuff.

Grab some dips. You'll want them. Stuff can come in on any thing from anywhere.
As much as I love hikers. Some do not love us.

Well the store that i got the frag from told me to come in tomorrow and they are giving me the dip they personally use on the house along with a ph buffer for my top off and fresh water dips to help the tank out for free as well. Along with a sample of my water to test to see exactly what we can figure out is going on with a few of my zoas. But what dip can take care of hitch hikers?

Just a heads up. You will quickly learn to NOT trust any LFS. These hitchhikers and pests are unavoidable even from some of the most trusted sources.

Having a simple qt on hand with a bottle of bayer insecticide and tlf revive to watch new additions will save you so much frustration.

Coral RX is another great dip.

A ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

To be a bit fair. Very often they don't know they have them. Many of us even after Bayer peroxide a chainsaw and nuclear device dip find a crab.

Lol yeah i know. But i was upset at first because ive been to thwm so long and this was litterally my forst ever coral i bout from them and yeah.. So the manager that knew me took what i had to say gave me advice and assured to me id be taken care of no matter what way it wemt witch im glad how he acted and like he said he deals with so many frags a day sometimes they get through but now he has to go check that whole frag tank or shelf atleast to double check. Just what made this bad experience a little better is how they handled it and obviously you guys support.

On the off hand though i thought they quit manufacturing RX and revive? And are those dips good for bacteria infections and wounds or hitchhikers..? Me personally im more concerned about the hikers out of anything..

Yea they still
Make them. And some are good for infection and cleaning.

I wish I had a handy link for you in a good process for dips.

Naturally the best is dip and qt.
No dip kills eggs.
