Slow and steady maybe 2-5% weekly bumps in blue, and a little less on white, but yeah, they can handle pretty much whatever you throw, just be patient :)
Well my friend..
I am already using 110% UV, Violet / 120% Blue, Royal Blue 10% Green, Red and 30-40% White :D

Now I think Id need a PAR meter to really see....

Build a peak schedule of let's say 5-7 hours, during that time frame, raise channels on all not maxed, keep raising slowly, might not look good for viewing at first, but you can have blue periods before and after for blue pleasure. Allow peak schedule to do the real work ;)

Perry, with no filter socks, do you wet vac your sump? Or what do you do about the debris that gathers in there.
I run socks, and have chaeto, but it amazes me how much debris is in my sump! Like what do I eve worry about the socks for! Hahaha

Hi Corey,
Actually I run a powerhead in every partition of the sump to keep everything in suspension. Then it makes its way back to the reef to be broken down further by animals in the DT.
I am really just experimenting at this point, not sure if I have seen any real difference vs using a filter sock. My idea was to keep more foods available in the system, but still figuring out whether I like it or not. So far, no change in nutrients.

Test of all tests in acro keeping!
Hung's Rainbow :)
Let's see what I can do with this one. Came in a bit brown, and notorious for stalling, and coloring down. Challenge accepted!

Today I did some necessary scaping to create space for my smoothies, those way they ate all sort of in the same proximity and lighting zone. This modular way of reefing is my plan for my eventual upgrade. This way I move sections over, not an entire rock scape. Here's what I came up with :)

Thank you!
Hopefully I will be able to grow these to the point of eventually sharing. I have had great luck with all other acros so far, so fingers crossed ;)

good luck! Have had mine about a month now and I think it’s turned more blue. Nothing to brag about yet.

I see daytime polyps, so that gives me the fuzzies, lol. I am seeing encrusting growth as well, so no hurry, or worry, already can tell it's going to be finicky, lol :)

You're on a roll, Perry. Good for you. I'm looking forward to more pictures and your continued success.

Your tank is no longer an SPS tank. It is officially a smoothie only tank.

Yeah, I am going to have the new tank full by the time it gets here, lol. I am leaning on keeping this tank going after I get the 112 gallon lagoon. I may just need it, especially if I don't atop buying corals!

Side note- this JDubbs Inner Planet is pretty sweet. I think it's going to have that "it" factor.

Beautiful corals

nutrients are vital to the health of the corals

I’ve achieved very deep saturation of color Up to 50ppm nitrate, growth just seems to stop at that level

Thank you for the kind words, the corals sure do appreciate it :)
It took Charlie(Charlie's Frags),can't tag him, to eventually convince me that higher nutrients were nothing to worry over, as I took the low nutrient pill years ago. Now, I just let them settle where they currently are. Tests are just that, so no response with results, just useful or in some cases, useless data. I did bring nitrate down over a few months from 80ppm, that was too high, smooth skins didn't like it. But, where I currently sit, I have for months now, which I think has helped with color and growth.
