Thanks Freddie!
It's a 6500k led bulb from HD, I believe it's by either GE or Sylvania. It puts out a great amount of light, have used this bulb for years, like at least 5 lol, for various reefing projects.

So here's the update, good, bad, and ugly....lol
1st off, I am now at 60 SPS corals and 49 of those are acros. I ended up losing the KC Red Dragon, it was hit hard, as well as ORA Hawkins when I had dinos. The thin branches had strands wrapped on them until I finally cleared. It slowly faded, then just started going out with rtn. It was yanked... :( Hawkins looks fantastic now.
In some of the pics upcoming, you will see I have hair algae patches. I have been dealing with 40-60ppm N03, but adding phosphate or it drops, been targeting 0.12 P04. I installed the mangrove fuge with a dsb for nitrate reduction and control. Been using bacteria and c-source dosing, which is just busting up P04. I am slowly decreasing, and will likely guide myself away as the mangroves begin to work. Yesterday I tested and dropped to 25ppm N03, so the carbon source is being greatly reduced. The new skimmer is way too powerful, so going to shelve it for the future, and go back to the Simplicity DC240.
I also ended up adding more rock, just to have surface area for the 10 new acros. Mission accomplished, I have now homed all corals, the scape still looks pretty good, but that 2 island theme is not going to last once the corals grow in. It's cool, I will enjoy my rock scape while it lasts, likely won't matter in another year or so.
Now, I can still find more space if it boils down to a special piece. I am going to stick with smoothies though, as they grow painfully slow for me. Alright, on to some pics :)

I snagged a fairly decent pic today of the Set For Stun. This blue is on another level and really hard to capture in a photo. It grows SO slow for me, but happy. @therman has this one doing well, mine came from Adam at BC. Anyway, as Tim has mentioned, very Jaw Dropper like growth pattern.

Perry, @aquavista99 has it as well and when I was there a few weeks ago I couldn’t believe how awesome the blue was under 10k halides. When his gets big enough, I’m getting a piece. It’s an awesome looking coral. If I can wait that long, if not I’ll go to therman. I’m lucjy enough to live in the same state as both of them!!

Hey Corey
Good to know, it's one of those must have smoothies, and sort of elusive, not on BC site. This one lights up in more full spectrum where the blue can be appreciated :) Mine is in a lower lit area, so growing VERY slow, but some are just that way. My JD is from therman, and as you can see, it glows! I wouldn’t hesitate on ordering with him ;)

Set for Stun is an oldie. I think I got it as the last nub Adam had the first time I met him. He just said "take good care of this, it is awesome!" so I did, and grew it out for posterity :)

That must have been around 2014 I think?

Been a couple months since I checked in on the build Perry! Looks amazing!

Out of curiosity... How did that small mystery acro end up doing after the rocky patch with the tank?

Always glad when I see PJ Cardinals in someone's tank; I feel like they are really underrated.

Hello and thank you for the kind words :) Agreed, the 4 pajamas and 1 bangai been with me for almost 3 years, they are fatties, lol.
Cheers!

Not sure which one we're talking about, but everything in the tank was aquired in January. If it was prior to that, I ended up losing every sps back in November 2021, long story :(
Thanks for the kind words and for checking out the journal!
Cheers

Here was the picture of it that I found in the old thread. I think you had named it Phoenix something...

Tank is looking amazing like always. I can’t wait to see what the upgrade will be. I remember that 120 you had so I could only imagine something bigger fully loaded with way more sps.

Thanks for the compliment brother! I still have a good way to go with this one, but I will begin planning for a larger system. Likely do a custom euro-braced tank and at least 6 footer. I already have the location picked out, so I can at least start constructing a stand. This will be a slow project, and sort of permanent, so getting it right and durable is of most importance. This 90 is just starting to take off, really looking forward to seeing it mature :) Thanks for stopping in, I appreciate the kind words :)
