i had got a coral frag the other day and i see a little feather duster on it im not sure if its harmful or beneficial or just a shrug

If it’s a feather duster it’s a cool little friend. Just a filter feeder. Looks like that’s what it might be but hard to tell with the spectrum of the pictures. I’m sure others will chime in as well

If we have the same thing. I knew they were worms but unsure if they were called feather dusters. I got some on some base to k I purchased. They will multiply. Depending on the size of your tank a few bumble bee snails will keep them in check. I like them but they were getting out of hand. I put 6-8 bubble bee snails in and they went to work. I removed all but 2 bumble bee because I didn’t want them all gone. I put the other BB snails in my QT tank until I need them again.

Thought this was a “feather Duster”
holy crap thats a ton of dusters im definitely gonna be purchasing some bumblebee snails then but right now there is only that one its its superrrr tiny so maybe i should wait to let some dusters appear and get hold a little?

I’d let them populate if you like them then introduce.
I definitely like them So he can stay for now but I am having some problems with medusa hydriods they are growing in extreme numbers in my fish tank if you know anything about those then Im open to all advice
