Hi guys been having low PH in 20 gallon tank. Hanna red pen checker reading 7.6 and Salfert PH coming in at 7.8ish. It's in-between 7.7 and 8.0 in color range. Everything I've read online says Alk KH and Ca to raise PH but those numbers are spot on. I've raised the return more towards the top of tank to increase surface tension and have opened a window and turned on ceiling fan x2 days with no change. I'll post my logs gotta be missing something. And tests done with Salfert and Hanna checker. Ca is red sea and Mg is 2 little fishes

My tank pH tells me how many people are in my house expelling carbon dioxide. I’m guessing you had a couple extra people in your house. Am I right or wrong?

Yes 1 extra person this week for Holliday. 3 extra on Thanksgiving. Just concerned I'm rught on cusp of it being way too low. However I would assume by opening a window and using ceiling fan I would have negated the co2 production created by extra peps

Mine is real low right now too. Tomorrow it will go back to normal when my kids leave. I’ll miss them. My tank will be fine.

Modified an Air Pump, to suck in outside air, and force it into the Skimmer intake. Never had a problem with pH since then. Also in the Winter, my pH actually goes up a bit, when the house is closed up more. I think this is because the air is denser, “more air molecules,” and the relative humidity is lower, on the air coming in.

Im at 7.9 literally always. If any chemicals used, can also decrese.
I also run a fan across top of tank to assure circulation of air
