I wanted to know how to use just carbon with the phosban reactor? I can't find and videos with just carbon . I see the carbon should be sandwiched in between the sponges so as not to escape into the tank. I don't see how to do that with the phosban reactor, can someone explain how to do that?

Put the carbon in a media bag and put the bag in the reactor.
OR
Buy 2 sponges
Or buy one sponge and dont turn up the reactor very high
You want the carbon to tumble a bit at the top
